I PULL MY CAR ON THE SIDE OF THE STREET, WAIT A FEW MINUTES AND SOMETIMES TURN ON MY CAR AND RATTLES AGAIN. NEED TO WAIT A FEW MORE MINUTES AND THE STARTS, THE ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON FOR A FEW MINUTES, MAYBE COUPLE HOURS OR FOR A DAY AND THEN CLEARS UP. I TOOK IT TO MY MECHANIC AND NO CODES CAME UP. MY MECHANIC SUGGESTED TO DO A FULL SERVICE ON MY CAR WHICH I DID AND STILL HAPPENING. THIS HAS HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES, WHILE I'M ON HIGHWAY OR CITY STREETS. . VERY, VERY DANGEROUS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO ALPINE BUICK GMC 8120 W TUFTS AVE, DENVER, CO 80123 TO HAVE THE LIGHT TURNED OFF HOWEVER, THE WARNING LIGHT REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT ONE DAY WHILE REVERSING FROM THE DRIVEWAY, THE POWER STEERING CEASED WITHOUT WARNING AND THE VEHICLE HIT A TREE. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND THERE WAS NOT A POLICE REPORT FILED. THE CONTACT HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY AT THE SAME DEALER BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRANSMISSION HAD TO BE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY DUE TO AN ABNORMAL NOISE THAT WAS HEARD EMITTING FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT HAD THE TRANSMISSION REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 29,515.

BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE IN 20 MONTHS DUE TO FAILURE OF CHARGING SYSTEM TO RECHARGE BATTERY. TURN SIGNALS DO NOT WORK PROPERLY OR AT ALL. DEALER SAYS BATTERY IS "DEFECTIVE". LOW ENGINE RPM TO INCREASE FUEL MILEAGE AND AUTOMATIC ILLUMINATION OF DRIVING LIGHTS END UP TO BATTERY BEING IN A CONSTANT DISCHARGE STATE LEADING TO FAILURE. SIGNAL LIGHTS WILL SLOW DOWN OR STOP ALTOGETHER WHILE SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT. THE VEHICLE HAS LEFT ME STRANDED SEVERAL TIME BECAUSE IT WILL NOT RESTART - THERE IS NO WARNING THAT FAILURE IS IMMINENT. POOR DESIGN IN ONE SAFETY FEATURE LEADS TO A FAILURE OF ANOTHER SAFETY FEATURE AND EVENTUALLY TO FAILURE OF THE VEHICLE ALTOGETHER. THERE IS NO VOLT METER AND NO WARNING LIGHTS ARE EVER ILLUMINATED.

ON 11/30, WE TURNED ON THE CAR, THE ENGINE LIGHT ON THE DASH CAME ON TO SERVICE ENGINE. WE TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALERSHIP. WE WERE INFORMED THE PROBLEM IS IN THE TRANSMISSION. IT NEEDED A TORQUE CONVERTER, A PUMP AND NEW GASKETS. THEY'VE HAD THE CAR SINCE 12/2, AND INFORMED US THEY WERE WAITING FOR THE GASKETS WHICH WILL POSSIBLY BE TWO MORE WEEKS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER FOR FURTHER INSPECTION AND DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. MY WIFE ALMOST GOT REAR ENDED. SHE CONTACT ONSTAR FOR DIAGNOSTICS BUT THEY COULD NOT SEE ANY ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. (NOT ISSUES OR DIAGNOSTIC CODES FOUND) WHEN THIS HAPPENED THE SERVICE STABILITRAK LIGHT LIT, TRACTION OFF LIGHT LIT, FLASHING SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT LIT. CAR RUNNING ROUGH AND WENT INTO POWER REDUCED MODE WITH SUDDEN REDUCED SPEED WHILE DRIVING ON HWY. TO DATE THIS HAS NOW HAPPENED SEVERAL TIMES AND UNTIL THIS PAST SUNDAY, 10/26/2014 HAD NEVER STORED A CODE TO SHOW A PROBLEM. THIS EVENT SHOWED A C0561 CODE STORED. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP FOR AN APPOINTMENT BUT THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO LOOK AT IT UNTIL TODAY, 10/29/2014 AT THIS POINT THERE APPARENTLY WERE TOO MANY DRIVE CYCLES AND THE CODE HAD CLEARED. THE DEALERSHIP ADVISED ME TO BRING IT IN ASAP ON THE NEXT EVENT OF THIS HAPPENING WITHOUT TURNING THE VEHICLE OFF, I HAVE KNOW IDEA WHEN OR WHERE I'LL BE WHEN IT HAPPENS AGAIN.... THIS IS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE WITH THIS VEHICLE AND I JUST HOPE TO NOT GET INTO AN ACCIDENT FROM THIS BEFORE THEY ARE ABLE TO FIX IT. *TR
