I BOUGHT A USED CAR WITH 2 DASHBOARD LIGHT TMPS & ENGINE THE DEALER GIVE ME EXTRA WARRANTY BUT NEVER BEEN REPAIR FURTHERMORE I FIND OUT BY MYSELF A RECALL FOR THE OUTER DOOR HANDLES AFTER THE DOOR OPEN WHILE I DRIVING IN THE EXPRESS WAY THIS HAPPENED TO MY YOUNGEST DAUGHTER; AND IN OTHER 2 INCIDENTS THE CAR DO NOT RESPOND WITH THE APPROPRIATE SPEED CAUSING ME A BIG CHANCE OF ACCIDENT AFTERWARDS IT IS HAPPENED AGAIN SO DUE TO OTHER SEVERAL MECHANIC PROBLEMS AND FOR SECURITY I HAVE TO DECIDED TO RETURN THE CAR NOW I HAVE NO MONEY NO CAR AND A BIG PROBLEM I AM HAVING HARDLY TIME TRIED TO SUMMIT MY CONCERNS BECAUSE I THINK THE DEALERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR SALE SECURITY CARS BEFORE THE SALE BUT APPARENTLY THE LAWS ARE IN THE DEALERS SIDE AS A CONSUMER I HOPE MAYBE SOME ONE CAN SEE HOW THIS IRRESPONSIBLE DEALERS PLAY WITH THE CONSUMERS SAFETY. I PAY OVER $3,000 IN REPAIRS BY MY SELF AND I HAVE BEEN AROUND 90 DAYS WITH OUT CAR AND ALL THIS PROBLEMS IN A PERIOD OF TIME OF 26 MONTHS PLUS MY PAYMENTS TO THE DEALER THAT WAS $460,00 A MONTH THIS ISSUE START ON 12-6-13 TO 02-26-16 AFTER THE CAR NEED A NEW REPAIR AT COST OF $3,000 SO IN THE REALITY THIS COMPANY WAS NEGLIGENT WHEN THEY FAIL TO PROPERLY REPAIR THE CAR SINCE THE BEGINNING THEY JUST PRETEND TO FIXED BUT WASN'T . MY HUSBAND WAS DRIVING ON THE NJ TURNPIKE AND THE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR LIGHT CAME ON. WITHIN A MINUTE THE REAR PASSENGER TIRE WAS COMPLETELY FLAT. AFTER INSPECTED BY A TIRE DEALER, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE TPMS CORRODED AND THE NUT CAME OFF WHILE DRIVING THE CAR. THE TPMS FELL INTO THE TIRE CAUSING AN IMMEDIATE FLAT TIRE. WARRANTY DID NOT COVER THE DEFECTIVE TPMS AND MAZDA DOES NOT HAVE A SAFETY RECALL ON THIS PART. THE PART WAS REPLACED WITH A NEW RUBBER TPMS.[ORIGINAL MADE OF METAL] THIS IS AN OBVIOUS CONCERN IF MAZDA IS NOW REPLACING THE PART WITH A NEW MATERIAL. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY CONCERN AS A MAJOR ACCIDENT COULD HAVE OCCURRED. LUCKILY, THE INCIDENT DID NOT RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT OR INJURIES. NOW THERE IS A CONCERN FOR THE OTHER THREE TPMS WHICH ARE ALSO CORRODED AND THE SAME ISSUE CAN HAPPEN. MAZDA NEEDS TO ISSUE A SAFETY RECALL SINCE I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY INFANT AND TODDLER UNTIL ALL TPMS ARE REPLACED WITH THE NEW TPMS DESIGN. *TR

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE CAR ISN'T UNDER WARRANTY ANYMORE; HOWEVER, HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT MY RIM WOULD CRACK AS I'M DRIVING. LIKE I SAID A MILLION TIMES TO SO MANY PEOPLE, I DID NOT HIT A CURB, OR A BUMP FOR THE RIM TO CRACK. I HAVE ONE RIM ISSUE AND ALL THE OTHERS ARE JUST FINE. THIS IS MY RIM STORY FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE END... IN THE WEEK OF AUGUST 15TH-21ST, 2010, THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CAME ON ALL OF A SUDDEN. I GOT NERVOUS AND I NOTICED MY FRONT-RIGHT TIRE WAS SOMEWHAT LOW. I WENT TO PEP BOYS TO HAVE AIR PUT INTO THE TIRE. A FEW DAYS LATER, THE LIGHT APPEARED AGAIN AND I WENT TO ANOTHER PEP BOYS TO HAVE AIR PUT INTO THE TIRE. THE WARNING LIGHT DISAPPEARED AFTER IT WAS WORKED ON. THEN THE WARNING LIGHT APPEARED AGAIN AFTER A COUPLE OF DAYS AND I WENT BACK TO PEP BOYS TO HAVE THE FRONT-RIGHT TIRE CHECKED AGAIN. THE YOUNG MAN SAID TO ME, "MISS, THERE IS A CRACK INSIDE OF YOUR FRONT-RIGHT RIM." I MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO ANOTHER DEALER WHO REPAIRS RIMS AND REPAIR MY RIM. EVERYTHING WAS FINE AFTER THE RIM WAS REPAIRED. THEN I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM MAZDA CORPORATION ABOUT RECALLS. I HAD THOSE DONE AND THE DEALER SAID, "I NEED TO GET MY TIRES CHECKED AGAIN." I LEFT THE DEALER AND WENT TO FIRESTONE AND THEY REPAIRED THE CRACKED RIM (2ND TIME). ON JANUARY 11, 2014, MY AUNT AND I RETURNED FROM FOOD SHOPPING AROUND 3PM. I PARKED THE CAR AT MY AUNT'S HOUSE TO UNPACK THE FOOD FROM THE TRUNK. MY AUNT, COUSIN AND I WERE GETTING SOME OF THE FOOD OUT OF THE CAR, WHEN ALL THREE OF US HEARD AIR (WHOOOOOOSH) BEING BLOWN OUT OF A TIRE FOR ABOUT 20 SECONDS. WE ALL STOOD STILL AND LOOKED TO SEE WHICH CAR THE AIR WAS COMING FROM. THEN MY COUSIN LOOK AT MY CAR SAID, "[XXX], DO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A FLAT?" I JUST COULD NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS HAPPENING AGAIN! VALVE STEM CRACKED THEN COMPLETELY BROKE OFF UNDER THE PLASTIC CAP. THE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT HAD BEEN COMING ON 2-3 DAYS PRIOR TO INCIDENT. EACH MORNING WHEN COLD DURING FIRST START UP LIGHT WOULD COME ON, AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF DRIVING AFTER VEHICLE WARMED LIGHT WOULD TURN OFF. ON WAY HOME FROM WORK TRAVELING 70MPH LIGHT CAME BACK ON. TOOK THE NEXT EXIT AND STOPPED AT GAS STATION TO FILL UP TIRES, REMOVED VALVE STEM CAP AND INSTALLED AIR HOSE. AIR HOSE COULD NOT FILL UP TIRE, AIR JUST CAME OUT OF THE SIDE OF STEM, REINSTALLED VALVE CAP. AT THAT TIME WE DIDN'T KNOW THE STEM WAS CRACKED SO I DROVE THE CAR VERY SLOWLY APPROX 3 MILES TO MY PARENTS HOUSE SO MY DAD COULD HELP. HE TRIED TO REMOVE THE VALVE CAP, AT THIS TIME THE STEM COMPLETELY BROKE OFF AT THE THREADS AND STAYED WITH THE CAP. THE STEM INTERNAL PARTS SPRANG OUT SO IT WAS NECESSARY TO REMOVE THE TIRE AND INSTALL THE SPARE. WE TOOK THE TIRE TO NEAREST BELLE TIRE SO THEY COULD REPLACE THE STEM BUT SINCE IT WAS A DEALER ONLY PART ALL THEY COULD WAS REPLACE IT WITH A STANDARD RUBBER STEM WITH NO SENSOR. THEY MENTIONED IT WAS A COMMON PROBLEM THEY HAD SEEN BEFORE, TO WHICH I WAS VERY SURPRISED. THESE SENSORS WERE CREATED TO COMBAT LOW AIR PRESSURE AFTER THE "TREAD ACT" AND IRONICALLY ARE CAUSING A LOW AIR PRESSURE. THE ORIGINAL CAUSE OF THE PRESSURE LIGHT WAS DUE TO A SLIGHTLY BENT RIM ON THE INSIDE. THIS HAD A SLOW LEAK AFTER BELLE TIRE REPLACED THE STEM. WE TOOK THE TIRE TO BRIGHTON MAZDA THE FOLLOWING DAY TO REPLACE THE SENSOR, THEY TOO SAID THEY HAD SEEN CRACKED STEMS IN THE PAST. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AND DETERMINE IF THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I THINK ITS VERY IRONIC THIS IS HAPPENING WHEN THE FREE RUBBER STEMS ALMOST NEVER FAIL AND $70 SENSORS ARE BREAKING ON A 3 YEAR OLD CAR. *TR
